How To Set VPN Client on Mac

VPN is acronym for Virtual Private Network. It allows the users  to securely access to their Local Area Network or company's intranet from their home or while traveling outside the office.

To set VPN client with PPTP (Point to Point Tunneling Protocol) method on your Mac Computer (MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro) follow the steps below:

1. Click on Network Icon
2. Choose Open Network Preferences





3. Click + icon to add new network


4. Click Interface


5. Choose VPN


6. Select PPTV on VPN Type
7. Give a name for  service name
8. Click Create 



9. Write  Server IP (internet Protocol) address, and username
10. Click Advanced


11. Give a tick (select) on Send all traffic over VPN connection, click OK


12. Click Apply, then click Connect to start VPN connection


13. Write the VPN password, click OK


14. If already connected you can see the  VPN network with green color indicator .
