How To Reset Admin Password Eva P6300 Storage

Forgot admin password for Eva P6000, P6300.

If you lost the admin password for HP Eva storage P6300 and P6000 family the only way to solve is using hard reset. reset through management module.

See at the back of Eva storageworks controller unit, you can see the Reset button on the Management module.

To Reset :
Press and hold the reset button for about 5 or 6 seconds until the green LED flashing, (release the button if the green LED is already flashing). Flashing LED means  reset in process and it will take about 2 minutes. When the reset operation is completed, then the green LED indicator light will turn solid green.

The default IP address for Eva P6300 is 192.168.0.1
The default administrator  is admin
The default password  is blank (no/without  password).

Recommended to change IP and default admin password.

My Sony Vaio laptop model : VPCCA16FB with originally using Windows 7 operating system, then now I already upgraded it to Windows 10.
