How to enable Remote Management TP-Link TL-WR1043ND

If you want to be able to remote your wireless router TP-Link TL-WR1043ND the 300M wireless N Gigabit router through WAN port, so you can manage the router from other/difference place.

• Login to your TP-Link TL-WR1043ND router
• Go to Security menu
• Choose Remote Management
• Input the port for Web Management port, in example I choose 8080
• Input the IP Address in to  Remote Management IP Address, choose 255.255.255.255 to make enable all IP address.

Go to Bios Setting VMWare Workstation

On the Guest Operating system / VM  (Virtual machine) in VMWare Workstation , if you want to go to BIOS setting menu or want to set boot priority, etc, by pressing ESC key, F2 key, etc,  usually you will not be able to reach it,  because the process is too fast.

To be able to enter  Bios setting,You can do by setting delay time before the system launch the operating system

You must set the Configuration file (vmx file) of the Virtual Machine.
Open VMX file using Notepad then add the following code:

How to Activate Administrator Account in Windows 8.1

Default setting for  the Administrator account in Windows 7 and Windows 8 are disable, to use this administrator account you have to set it to enable first.

In Windows 8.1 you will not see the user and group folder from Computer Management menu. So you can't activate administrator account from Computer Management menu.

The way to active administrator account in Windows 8.1 :

• Run Command Prompt as administrator
From Metro UI (if you are on Desktop, press Windows logo on the keyboard to move or toggle between Desktop and Metro UI (User interface), then Write cmd, it will automatically search for Command Prompt.
After you see the Command Prompt,  right click on it and choose Run as administrator.

Divide Hard Disk Windows 8

Generally when you buy a new notebook or desktop computer, it has only one  local harddisk drive letter, usually it will be the C drive only.

If you want to have new drive letter for example D or E without adding new physical harddisk, you can do by shrink the volume of C drive and make new partition for new drive.

Same as in Windows 7, to divide the partition and create a new volume in Windows 8, you can do easily without  using additional software/application.

• From the Desktop, select File Explorer, then right click at Computer
• Then click Manage.

Cannot connect to the real www.google

If your browser couldn't open the Google page, and get the warning like this : Cannot connect to the real www.google.com. That means the SSL has an error



One of the reasons is maybe the time of your computer is not correct, you can check the time located in the right side of the taskbar (for Windows), it usually gets the old/past year, then you can  correct the year, month, date, hour, min to  solve the problem.

The time is not correct maybe because of CMOS battery is low,  so if you shutdown your computer, it will not be able to store the data (in the BIOS). Change the battery with new one.

Only one speaker works in my iPhone 4 / 4S, why ?

If you have an iPhone 4 or 4S, try to play any music or sound, then use finger or thumb  to block the speaker hole located at the bottom of your iPhone, then you will find only one speaker will work, the right speaker side. not work for the left side.

Entering Safe Mode Windows 8

To enter to Safe Mode in Windows is by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as soon as after the computer is turned on before loading Windows.
But for Windows 8, the function of F8 key to get into Startup Settings to go to Safemode is not enabled by default, so you will not be able to go to safe mode, if the setting is still disable.

Quick Access to Taskbar In Windows 7 Windows 8

To move or toggle quickly from one application to another  in Windows is by using the Alt + Tab. Before you can do this, you need to open the program/application first (the application must be already opened).

How to Put Application to the Taskbar in Windows 8

Windows 8 uses modern style (Windows 8-style UI /Metro Interface), but for many applications we still need the taskbar from desktop screen.

To insert application shortcut to the taskbar (pin to taskbar) :
• Go to Windows 8-style UI (Metro interface) by pressing the Windows key on the keyboard,
• Type the application that you want to add to the taskbar, for example, I will  add Ms Paint  to the taskbar. Type paint, once it appears right click on it, then the Pin to Taskbar menu will appear at the bottom, click to select.

How to Know IP Address in Windows 8

When your  computer  connected to a network, use LAN cable or use wireless (wifi), it has an IP (Internet Protocol) address.

There are two ways to find out the IP address on a Windows computer, through the Command (DOS) or go to the network connection menu.

Here is to know the IP address in Windows 8 via Network connection icon at the lower right corner (Icon differ between connection via wifi, cable and modem)
